AbstractHistoryArchive Description

'A mock marriage is supposed to allow Imad to escape the discrimination in his country. His lover, his alibi-wife and his advocate discuss the details in Imad's absence. To lie accurately, they have to align their stories about him - and yet they keep contradicting themselves. Imad turns into a blind spot, into a stranger whose life is diametrically opposed to the liberal and casual world of his friends, and who eludes definitions.'
