A column canvassing current literary news including a report on Australian authors published by Faber & Faber. Wyndham reports that Emma Jones's The Striped World has been promoted as the first book by an Australian poet to be published by Faber & Faber, but Wyndham states that this honour belongs to Geoffrey Lehmann's 1992 volume Spring Forest. (Spring Forest was published by Angus & Robertson in Australia in 1992 and by Faber & Faber in 1994.)
