AbstractHistoryArchive Description
Howard Anderson is an American property developer who has come to Australia to build a tourist hotel in the Blue Mountains, New South Wales. He is unaware, however, that his business partner, Julian Fane, has insured the incomplete structure for ten million dollars, far more than its actual worth. Fane intends to ensure it goes up in smoke during the bush fire season, in order to collect on the insurance.
