AbstractHistoryArchive Description

'My paper looks at how I use poetry to write with personal, political and historical edge, showing the influences of Seamus Heaney, Jon Silkin, Ted Hughes and many Australians. I make specific mention of Margaret Bradstock. My emphasis focuses on the shape and purpose of poetic linguistics that describes or infuses poetry with a sense of place and placement.' -- From the introduction
