AbstractHistoryArchive Description

When a Carrion Crow spots Old Man Crocodile at rest in a muddy river he tells the crocodile that there is another river close by and offers to lead him to it. Of course it is a trick and Old Man Crocodile is stranded until a kind villager takes pity on him and returns him to the river. The ungrateful crocodile takes hold of the villager's bullock's leg until a rabbit shouts to the villager to hit the crocodile. Old Man Crocodile wishes to exact revenge upon the rabbit so lies in wait. He eventually catches the rabbit but the rabbit tricks the crocodile into opening his mouth and makes good his escape.
