The boys hunt kangaroos, muster brumbies, visit an Aboriginal camp, and witness a bush wedding. In one incident Bob is kidnapped by Aboriginal People [sic], but saved by his redoubtable chums' (Oxford Companion to Australian Children's Literature 16).
