Incorporated in to the Babes in the Wood pantimime, where it was performed by Nat Phillips in his role as Stiffy.

Notes

  • The 1918 published score includes the lyrics to four additional stanzas. Each stanza refers to a different girl from a different inner-city suburb of Sydney: Summer Hill, Balmain, Glebe, and Elizabeth Bay.
