      • Percival Serle comments about the appearance of Letts, Son and Company on the title page: 'So, on the Title-page, but only pages 1 to 16 appear to have been printed in England (ca. 1874). Later on, possibly in 1876, eight additional pages were printed by Mason, Firth and McCutcheon, Melbourne' (A Bibliography of Australasian Poetry and Verse : Australia and New Zealand (1925) 174). The name of the Melbourne printer appears on the final page as does the date 1876.
