AbstractHistoryArchive Description

'The work in this anthology is exceptional. Perhaps its most striking quality is its diversity. It spans generations, experiences, lives, countries, socio-cultural placements and boundaries, and genders. It defies preconceived categorisations and societal pressures of how a dominant culture thinks Aboriginal people ought to write..It is presented from the heart across Places, Spaces, in Dreamings, Story and Song. And most empowering and impressive of all, it is the sound of New Indigenous Voices.' (Source: Back cover)
