Rudd interviewed Reid on the Queensland Government yacht Lucinda during a cruise on Moreton Bay. As presented here, the interview was a somewhat humorous affair, with Rudd probing the Prime Minister's knowledge of Australian literature and writers, and also quizzing Reid on his own literary offerings. Includes illustrations by Arthur Hingston and Ashton Murphy.
