'Sara is taken on a magic carpet ride with a difference. Staying with her Turkish grandmother, she spies a faded carpet, adorned with various symbols and animals, and begs for it to be put in her room. Each night in her dreams she learns a little more about the design of the carpet and the young girl who made it. Each of the animals has a story to tell about conservation, and the exploitation of children in the carpet weaving industry is treated with subtlety and compassion. After many dreams, Sara has enough information to work out the weaver's true identity.' (Source: CMIS website)
