'The history of trade unions in Australia and comment about the wages/inflation spiral. Wild West movies and pulp novels provided the metaphor and many old 'western' songs were used, such as 'Don't Fence Me In'. Production Details

  • Premiered in the School of Arts, Moura with the 16th April 1977 the most likely date. The Popular Theatre Troupe Half Yearly Report 1st January, 1977 - 30th June, 1977 indicates that the group was in Moura from the 16th to the 18th April 1977. The play was subsequently performed in Central and North Queensland, and in a later tour of New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia.
