AbstractHistoryArchive Description

'A documentary satire on the mass communications media and the psychology of the advertising industry. A series of metaphors served the production. A "radio play" with outlandish sound effects was performed to outline the link between the commerical media and capitalism.' Production Details

  • First produced by the Popular Theatre Troupe in 1979 with a remount in 1980. Revived for a Mass Education national conference arranged by Australian Teachers of Media (ATOM) in 1988 and performed by students of Kingston High School under the direction of Chris Hayward.
