Notes

  • 'The book seeks to provide a small window into the rich, creative vein of talent that exists below the surface of every community. The multicultural nature of the authors is a reflection of the demographic reality of Western Sydney. [...]

'As the title suggests, this book is a rebuttal to people who use racism as a weapon to attack the well being and security of Australians who happen to have an Asian, Aboriginal or Middle Eastern background. A reading of the authors details page tells us that most of the people who have contributed to this project are from these backgrounds - most have grown up in Australia and speak another language as well as English.' (From the Introduction.)
