Nettie Palmer played a significant role in the development of Australian writing and publishing by supporting and promoting a generation of Australian authors. This study explores the differences between Nettie Palmer's original journals and notebooks, and the version of these published by Meanjin Press in 1948 as Fourteen Years: Extracts from a Private Journal 1925-1939.
