AbstractHistoryArchive Description

'Historia' is a fusion of poetry, Polish, and electronic notation that examines love and the social forces with which it struggles to co-exist, and explores the patterns of both personal and cultural histories that determine self-identity.' (Source: Metro Arts mid-May update).

  • English and Polish languages are both used in this play.

  • First produced by the Sydney Theatre Company's Australian People's Theatre at Wharf 2, 21 February 1996.
  • Queensland premiere presented by She Said Productions and the Brisbane Pride Festival at the Sue Benner Theatre, Metro Arts, Brisbane 30 May - 2 June 2006.
