AbstractHistoryArchive Description

George and Madeleine live in a miserable dystopia. George and Madeleine like it kinky. But their relationship has passed beyond sadomasochistic whipping to an altogether tougher level of violence. She asks him to bash her, he obliges. 'Why do people always feel sorry for the victim?' he asks of us. After all, it is exhausting work beating someone up. Garrotting explores the purpose of male/female relationships, the desires and needs that are met, and then leaves us guessing if there are any that go unsatisfied. It verbalises the usually unspoken agreements between men and women.
