AbstractHistoryArchive Description

Having finished work on Christmas Eve, 1974, in Darwin, a group of friends finds their celebrations dramatically interrupted by the onslaught of Cyclone Tracy. Caught for seven days in the ensuing devastation, emotions run high and the atmosphere is taut as the group struggles to find the basics for survival. They decide to leave Darwin and travel overland to Perth, but along the way there are many surprising, and disturbing, revelations among the group.
