AbstractHistoryArchive Description

'Sometimes life can be no more than a matter of being at the right place at the right time. But Albert was definitely in the wrong place at the wrong time... or was he? Accidentally enchanted by an clumsy sea-hag, Albert is forced to abandon everything he knows when he is turned into a half bird - half boat. And a bitter one at that! But then, on impulse, he saves the life of a young sailor named George Tucker and one act of kindness leads to another and a strong, lifelong bond is formed. Then, with George as captain and a colourful crew of characters which includes his niece Adeline, a young bloke called Digger Smith, his best mate Dougie the Dugong as well as Cuz the Cockatoo, Albert sets sail on the adventure of a lifetime to find the key to the long lost 'Misty Treasure'. But, even with the help of a mysterious wooden spoon, it isn't all smooth sailing for Albert and his crew. Taken from the coast of north western Australia right around the globe, their friendship and trust are put to many tests as they attempt to reclaim what has been hidden and save the world from the destructive ways of the arch polluter- the evil Grotney.'
