A highly autobiographical account of a young woman drawn by love into a group of artistic identities. Jorgensen's editorial changes to the original manuscript, including changing the fictitious names of the characters to the real names, have accentuated the factual quality of the work. Until this publication, the manuscript was held by the author's family since her death.
