When Helen discovers that she is unable to have children, her career-driven sister Claudia offers to be the surrogate mother in an act of supreme generosity. When, several years later, Claudia is unable to have her own child, she unintentionally begins to compete with her sister for their daughter's affection. Who will be left holding the baby?'
