'Escaping the grasp of home justice, My Li heads for the Australian goldfields aboard the Dayspring. But amidst murder and betrayal, desperation and friendship, My Li and Kinqua, his wise companion, are relentlessly hunted by the Triad. It looks like there can be only one conclusion' (Source: Back cover).

Notes

  • The back cover of this book states that some of the historical events described in this (fictional) book include 'the infamous crossings of the vessel, Dayspring, by notorious Captain Middleton; the gold rush, the shanty towns and gangland politics, the Lambing Flat Riots of 1861. All this and more happens here in the story of My Li.'
