Production Details

First produced at the Australia (Adelaide) on 27 and 28 November 1934, in aid of the Father Adelaide Christmas movement.
Cast members:
Lead roles were taken by Don Richardson, Mavis Stephen, Frank Kennedy, Decima Harvey, Gwen Freak, Joy Badenoch, Rex Saunders, and Cedric Hele.
Tap-dancing was undertaken by Jack Banyer ('and his boys').
Stanley Spry contributed a 'juggling tap number'.
Physical work in the gymnasium scene and the ballet work was done by students from Noel Hubble's Central College of Health.
