AbstractHistoryArchive Description

First staged by actor/comedian Barry Humphries in 1981, immediatley following that year's English Proms season, this parody of the Proms is the result of a collaboration between Humphries and renowned American conductor and composer Carl Davis. The pair revived the production in 2009, presenting it in London's Royal Albert Hall.
