Notes

  • Act 1 of Available Light. The play in its entirety was commissioned by the ABC in 1990 for radio.
  • Invisible Sun takes its title from a line in Sir Thomas Browne's 'Urn Burial; or a Discourse of the Sepulchral Urns Lately Found in Norfolk': 'Life is a pure flame, and we live by an invisible sun within us'.
