A collection of Aboriginal legends, newspaper articles, short stories, poems, and historical reports concerning the dreaded Australian creature known as the bunyip. Contains the outline of her novel for older readers, Escape by Deluge (1989) in which Shelley frees an ancient bunyip trapped in a Melbourne drain.
