Sue Bennett returned to her old profession of nursing when she realised that she was not going to make the grade in an acting career; but suddenly she found herself involved in a real-life drama which provided as much mystery and excitement as any stage play. She had to find the reason for Dr. Vittorio Megaro's taking such an intense interest in patients who were obviously from the underworld.
