Editor's Introduction: ...Multicultural Writing or 'Ethnic' or 'Non-English-Speaking-Background', NESB) is said to be performed by people here in Australia who aren't of British stock. These people are referred to as migrants, even if born here. As opposed to the british. The categorisation of particular writers (according to their cultural or chromosomal origins), or their writings (often regardless of subject matter, aesthetic, politic or most importantly, language), is said to be done in order to redress marginalisation.
