AbstractHistoryArchive Description

The title page of this radical journal featured a sketch of a bell-ringer by Norman Lindsay. The paper published labor news, social comment, literary, musical and theatrical reviews, poetry and cartoons. Bernard O'Dowd, under the pseudonym 'Gavah the Blacksmith', published a regular column entitled 'The Forge'.
