  • In 2016, The Queanbeyan Age moved from being a paid newspaper to a free one. The final paid edition was published on 5 August 2016; the first free edition appeared on 16 August 2016. When publication moved from paid issues to free ones, the weekly publishing schedule changed from Friday to Tuesday.
