AbstractHistoryArchive Description

Featuring some characters from Quinton's Rouseabout, including the 'irrepressible Murty himself', this book 'presents episodes in the career of Murty Brown, "a restless wandering bushwhacker" of the coastal border country between New South Wales and Queensland. Through this character Sorenson depicts the light-hearted, come-easy and go-easy ways of Australian bushmen' (Miller).
