  • Appeared in the Bulletin in 1892 with the accompanying note: 'Dear Bulletin - While hunting up information concerning the early life of our dead "Singer of the Dawn", Henry Kendall, I stumbled across in the Empire of a date 31 years ago the enclosed little lyric, written by his twin brother, Basil E. Kendall. - Yours truly, Stewart G. Mitchell, Jan 22, 1892.'
