  • Bush Bred was one of the few fiction works to appear in the Sydney Mail during World War I.
  • Dedication: To Viscount and Viscountess Novar, in gratitude for their most encouraging appreciation of my modest attempts at literature and because they love Australia, I dedicate this book.
