  • Publisher's Note: 'This anthology is a step, deliberate rather than cautious, to close the gap between those who write and those who read poems. Its concept arises from the disturbing difficulty of presenting the work of young poets in individual volumes...Here, four poets, broadly in sympathy with each other, join together to present the best of their new poems, which in most cases have already received the accolade of saintly editors of literary journals.'
