AbstractHistoryArchive Description

A black comedy set in an inner Melbourne suburb. Carl Fitzgerald, apparently from a well-to-do background and with a failed marriage behind him, is living in a cheap house, unable to pay the rent. He gets a job in the cockroach-infested kitchen of a Greek entrepreneur's nightclub. Carl's assistant is a drug-dealing Turkish man called Mustafa. Carl quickly becomes involved with a voluptuous waitress, but his problems escalate when he accidentally kills Mustafa. (Source: Australian Film Radio and Television School, library catalogue)
