First published in 1916 as an advertisement for Heenzo coughs and cold remedy, this poem is known to have appeared in Sydney's Daily Telegraph and possibly other newspapers around Australia. Lawson provided the remedy's manufacturer, G. W. Hean with three more poems for its 1918 advertising campaign.
