Veronica Kelly is an academic with expertise in Australian colonial and contemporary drama and theatre history. She has written numerous reviews and criticism, and her research has included work on Charles Harpur, Marcus Clarke, Garnet Walch, Louis Nowra, Janis Balodis, Michael Gow and Nick Enright.
Kelly is the author of The Theatre of Louis Nowra (1998), and has edited several critical works on the theatre. She has been co-editor of the journal Australasian Drama Studies since 1982.
Currently (2003) she is an Associate Professor in the Department of English, Media Studies and Art History at the University of Queensland.
