Tracey Bunda (4 works by)
Born: Established: 14 Jan 1961 Ipswich ;
Gender: Female
Heritage: Aboriginal Goernpil / Goenpul / Geonpul people; Aboriginal; Aboriginal Wakka Wakka people
Tracey is also Goenpul but on our database we have a Goernpul - I have emailed her 2/5/07 to ask her about the correct spelling. YG:IP Email YG>JK>YG 16/5/07 I received an email on monday from Tracey and I spoke to her Yesterday - she said that she is Goenpul. I am unsure if I can put that down as I've been told I can only put down new heritage entries from AIATSIS. Spoke with Kerry re this heritage spelling and let her know it wasn't in the AIATSIS list (as many othes haven't been). Anita and Kerry are working on the lists to try and rationalize them, so for the moment could you just put an appropriate statement into her biography to reflect her correct heritage. I have changed Tracy Bunda's Bio. I took off the Wakka Wakka heritage listing and put it in the bio instead - I thought it may be confusing to the reader to see the heritage say one thing and then the bio say another. YG 16/5/07
