Katherine Region of Writers (KROW) was established in 1992 as the Katherine Literary Guild. In addition to their poetry and short story anthologies the group has also published The Katherine's Comin' Down : Personal Accounts From Survivors of the Australia Day Flood, Katherine 1998 (1999).
