BiographyHistory

Davies, a North Queenslander, was a promising writer and poet but with the responsibilities of a growing family she put her talents aside for a few years. In 1985 Davies indicated to the editor of Love and History, Peace and War: Australia's Heritage in Verse that she intended to resume creative writing.
