BiographyHistory

The earliest Pyramid books were highly sensational paperbacks. Later it embraced genre fiction (especially science fiction and fantasy). Acquired by Harcourt Brace Jovanovich in 1974, Pyramid was renamed Jove in 1977. Jove imprint (also Jove Books) has become part of Penguin.
