BiographyHistory

Carmen Ibis Novoa was born in Uruguay and migrated with her family to Australia in 1976. She has published her poetry and short stories in newspapers (including Noticias y Deportes), periodicals (such as Tabaré) and anthologies, and has won numerous literary competitions in South America and Australia. Evasion/Evasion is her first poetry book. She is also a visual artist.
