BiographyHistory

The son of Olaf Ruhen, Carl Ruhen shared the pseudonyms Caroline Farr and John Slater with other authors. Ruhen was an editor with Horwitz (1968-1969), with Man magazine (1969-1971) and then with publisher Ure Smith (1972-1973). Ruhen has also written a wide range of non-fiction works which include New South Wales local histories and a book on baby names.
