BiographyHistory

Australian-born poet David Burn went to New Zealand as an eight-year-old. Burn contributed to Australian poetry periodicals, including Birth: A Little Journal of Australian Poetry. Under the psedonym 'Marsyas' Burn published many poetry broadsheets, including The Anzacs [191-?]; The Crowning Grace [191-?]; Et Violenti [191-?]; The Swan of Avon [191-?]; To Annie Besant (1913); In Memoriam (1920); Beatus et Sanctus (1920); To the Great Protector of Our Order (1927); Welcome! [1927?]; Vox Clamantis (1934).
