BiographyHistory

Valda Blundell is Professor Emeritas at Carleton University in Canada. Although she lives in Ottawa, for the past ten years she has been visiting the Kimberley region regularly where she has been helping to develop a locally based heritage archive and to repatriate anthropological materials. Her doctoral thesis on the Worrorra and related groups was completed after undertaking field work in the Kimberleys in the 1970s.
