BiographyHistory

Ian Rae has worked as a teacher, counsellor of young people, musician and theatre performer. He was also for some time a Visiting Fellow in Pacific and Asian History at the Australian National University. In 2001 Rae committed himself to writing full-time, dividing his time between homes in Canberra and the Huon Valley, Tasmania.

Rae writes fiction under the pseudonym Jack Irvine.
