'Craig Billingham was born in Peterborough in England and grew up in Sheffield. He came to Australia with his family in 1987, taking up residence first in Adelaide, then Sydney. He graduated with a degree in philosophy from Macquarie University in 1995 and then lived in Kobe, Brussels, London and Frankfurt.

'He returned to Sydney in 2003 and moved to Katoomba in the Blue Mountains.'
