BiographyHistory

Bernard Hesling was a painter, cartoonist, enamellist and writer. He worked as the art director at Elstree film studios in the United Kingdom from 1934 to1939 and later was a cartoonist for Sydney's Daily Telegraph.

He illustrated many of his own books, often incorporating elements of fantasy, landscape and folk-history.
