BiographyHistory

Coates has extensive experience in Australia and overseas as a telecommunications engineer. Part of his overseas experience included a period in Nairobi, Kenya as a UN technical specialist. While living in Africa in the early 1990s he met, and for some years was married to, a Tanzanian woman from the Nyamwezi tribe.
