'Born in Wellington in NSW's central west in 1958, Robyne moved to Albury in 1988 and considers it her hometown. She graduated from Mitchell College of Advanced Education (now Charles Sturt University Bathurst) in 1980 with a Bachelor of Arts Communication (Public Relations) and 20 years later (to the day) graduated with a Master of Arts (Organisational Communication) also from CSU Bathurst. She has worked in journalism and public relations since 1980.
